Check Out Our Short Story Club!

Looking to read but don’t have the time to commit to an entire novel? Check out our short story club where we read short stories and short novels, and have interesting discussions about them!

This month we’ll be discussing “The Red Convertible” by Louise Erdrich. It’s the story of two brothers torn apart by war. Henry returns from the Vietnam War, and is no longer the same old Henry that his younger brother, Lyman, and others remember. Lyman doesn’t know how to talk to Henry anymore, but he hopes that a red convertible can help Henry become his old self.

We’ll be meeting outside on Monday, June 14th at 2:00pm behind the Wills Mansion.
