Support the library

Year-in & year-out, PMPL does amazing things for our community!   Even with Covid-19 restrictions, the library provides countless hours of help.  Social distancing has not been an obstacle to serving our community.  We use simple phone calls, emails, and social media to reach out to our patrons.  Monday through Saturday we provide library services by appointment.  We’re helping with computer support, scheduling curbside pickup for books and movies, mailing items to homebound patrons, printing and faxing, and distributing free books and crafts.  We’ve created tail-gate book club, Zoom programs and YouTube videos.  We installed a Little Free Library for 24/7 access to books.  PMPL is initiating a collection  of circulating Chromebooks and mobile hotspots to help our patrons increase their access to the internet.   Best of all, the library no longer charges daily overdue fines!  We all need some forgiveness, and there are no more penalties if books or movies are late.  PMPL is pushing out as many services as we possibly can to help support all our patrons during this challenging time.  We help our community because we care, and now we appreciate your support to help through the winter.  A little goes a long way these days, so give what you can and ask us how we can help you or someone you know!

Sincerely,  Ann C. Shincovich, Library Director
