Pocono Mountain Public Library has been providing free guitar workshops for nearly a decade! Since the first workshop on April 20, 2016--Joe has been teaching guitar to all sorts of people interested in all sorts of musical genres.

Music has a unique way of bringing people together, crossing generations and backgrounds. One of the most remarkable aspects of the guitar workshops is the wide age range of participants. Joe has taught teenagers just starting their musical journey alongside adults well into their 70s and 80s. This diversity creates a unique learning environment where experience and youthful enthusiasm blend.

For younger players, the workshops offer a chance to build skills and confidence. For older adults, learning guitar provides mental stimulation, social connection, and a creative outlet. Joe’s approach respects these differences, tailoring lessons to individual goals and abilities.
